Space Exploration: environment in space is hazardous and inhospital for humans to stay for too long, therefore, robots can perform the tasks instead.
Underwater Exploration: deep underwater environment has been mysterious because human cannot access there due to water pressure. Therefore, robot can do the exploring mission instead.
Manufacturing Industry: Manufacturing tasks are repetitive tasks, robot can perform the tasks with high precision and speed.
Do you believe that the convergence of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and fully autonomous robotics is imminent and could potentially have a major impact on the world?
If convergence of AGI and fully autonomous robotics happens, it would definitely make a major impact on the world. However, I think this change is not imminent because there are still plenty of challenges to overcome.
